During my early years in Secondary school, there was this heavy rain that fell and a young boy was drowned in an open drainage clogged with waste. Just like this young boy many people have lost their live to preventable occurrences such as this. Today the world is still been faced with the challenges and we are even at the brim of destroying the single home we have which is planted earth. This experience for me with my extensive exposure to pollution during my university studies as a graduate of Earth Sciences. I realize that with the right education we can save as many lives as possible across the globe. My years of practical engagement within the various communities have lived in both Urban, semi-urban and rural and educational experience has led to my quest of closing a major gap. These gaps include lack of information, support and implementation of projects which are capable of protecting and conserving our environment. To do things right and efficiently I garner trainings by applying for different fellowship opportunities such as president Barrack Obama Young African Leaders Initiative, International Institute for Social Entrepreneur Training ( Kanthari India), Kectil Leadership Training, Online Youth Exchange (A one year environmental and climate change training for youth across the world) and Circular Economy Training organized by Lagos Business School. I have used the skills acquired to serve many organizations both locally and internationally and have inspired many young people around me before deciding to start my own organization with the name Securecycle. We advocate for effective utilization of the resources available to mankind without compromising the ability of future generation in meeting their own needs.
