WATER SANITATION AND HYGIENE IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

One of the major requirements for education facility is availability of WASH facilities. In Nigeria many public (government) schools are neither connected to electricity grid nor water pipes. Pupils rely on the environment for defecation and nature for water supply. Our team carried out a campaign in 2019 where we sample 30 schools from all senatorial districts of the state and we are disappointed in the state of WASH facilities in our schools. We are calling on both government and private organizations to support and help provide facilities for these schools.
